Where to host it: cities and venues

In Bogotá and the savanna, event estates in Cota, Chía and La Calera are common. In Medellín, the estates of eastern Antioquia (Rionegro, Llanogrande) are popular for their pleasant climate, while in Cali, valley haciendas offer ample space year-round. For large groups, book several weeks in advance, especially during the high season.

When: dates and weather

Colombia has dry and rainy seasons that vary by region rather than marked seasons. Bogotá is cool year-round, Medellín temperate and stable, and Cali warm. The drier seasons (December to March and July to August) are ideal for outdoor activities.
